Many will criticize this Auburn football team in wake of Saturday’s loss in Fayetteville. I won’t. They put it all on the line and came up short. How can you fault these young men? Lots of us still have deep scars from that 2012 team that quit. This group has done nothing but fight to get better.
Gus Malzahn’s team is nowhere near where they should be following the expectations of summer. There may or may not be a bowl game at the end of the year, though I still believe this team has yet to play its best football.
