Ravens, still evaluating cornerback options, bring in Tony Carter

After being forced to sign street free agents and raid other teams' practice squads last year to patch up an injury-plagued secondary, the Ravens vowed to not put be in that position again.

Perhaps that's the best explanation for why even after acquiring Will Davis from the Miami Dolphins on Monday for a 2016 seventh-round NFL draft pick, the Ravens hosted a free agent cornerback looking for work.

Tony Carter, who has played six seasons in the NFL, all but one of them for the Denver Broncos, worked out for the Ravens on Tuesday at the Under Armour Performance Center.
