Baylor (17-1, 5-1) crushed Texas (7-11, 1-5) 74-64 to keep pace in the race for a Big 12 title. Johnathan Motley was incredible as he posted 32 points and 20 rebounds.
Despite getting absolutely crushed, Texas opened the game playing well. Jarrett Allen and Shaq Cleare scored eight early points. They established deep position and were effective. Cleare finished with 14 points, but he fouled out with ten minutes remaining in the game.
The Bears had just four points in the first 6:30. Not long after, Manu Lecomte nailed a 3-point shot that foreshadowed how quickly the game was about to blow open for Baylor.
