Baylor Eliminated from Big 12 Baseball Tournament

Baylor baseball fell for the second consecutive morning at the Big 12 Tournament, losing a tightly contested game to #4 Texas Tech by a score of 4-1. With the loss, Baylor is eliminated from the tournament.

Texas Tech would get on the board first in the bottom of the 2nd inning, scoring 3 runs off of Baylor starter Montana Parsons. The inning was highlighted by a 2 run homer off the bat of Orlando Garcia, who killed the Bears when the two teams met in Lubbock in early April. Parsons would settle in nicely though, putting together a quality start with just the 3 runs allowed over 6 innings with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts.
