What's at stake
For Baylor, the chance at an undefeated season and a playoff spot is at stake for the Bears. A loss to Texas would almost assuredly end the playoff chances considering the Bears' had such a weak non-conference schedule.
As for Texas, pride is certainly at stake, but much more likely the Texas players are fighting for Charlie Strong's job security. A win over a top-10 team could send a message that Texas is in better shape than it was last season to the antsy administration.
