Watch out, this game is one of those weird Thursday night prime-time games in Ames, IA. Bizarre things happen on these kinds of nights. Texas (1-2) regained some hype after taking #5 USC to the wire in the Coliseum two weeks ago. Iowa State (2-1) is coming off of a decent win in Akron, Ohio. Last time these two teams met in Ames, Iowa State posted a 24-0 shutout of the Longhorns. While I do think the Longhorns will score in this game, I’ve been calling an Iowa State win here since before the season started and I have seen nothing to make me change my mind.
