Baylor picked up the services of Johnathan Lovett, a running back from New Jersey. Michigan State appeared to have the late momentum with him, but he’s heading to Waco:
Lovett, who plays at Marlton (N.J.) Cherokee, announced his commitment to the Bears, where he officially visited earlier this month. He was recruited to Baylor to play running back, and he will unite with former Temple coach Matt Rhule, who built a strong relationship with Lovett when he was with the Owls.
"I think in talking to him, I would say the coaching staff, (and) the fact the running backs coach from the NFL came in and talked to him and it excited him, that was big," Cherokee coach P.
