CBS Sports college basketball analyst Gary Parrish thinks it's time to start taking Baylor seriously as a Final Four contender.
Parrish wrote as much in a column identifying five under-the-radar Final Four contenders. He wrote that Baylor is not receiving the respect it deserves for its 14-0 start to the season.
"Baylor has already beaten multiple good teams on neutral courts, which suggests the Bears have what it takes to make a serious run at the Final Four. That's the truth," Parrish wrote.
The analyst thinks the reason Baylor gets some disrespect despite being one of two remaining undefeated teams in the country is that it does not have the name brand that a UCLA or Villanova has.
