What with Art Briles' culpability in the Baylor scandal fairly well-documented, hopefully ending attempts to restore his honor in the guise of seeking truth, the question is, what now?
What about Baylor regents and officials and their culpability?
What about Briles' staff members and their future?
What about the death penalty?
What about a story that will only grow as more victims, emboldened by new revelations, add their chapters?
From the top, the universal animus towards the Baylor board is a new one on me. Over the course of a career that included the rise and fall of the Southwest Conference, I've seen presidents pilloried, athletic directors savaged, coaches hung in effigy.
