Tigers No. 2 prospect Max Clark was having a pretty good start to spring training. He appeared in Detroit's first two games, and saved them from an outright loss against the Orioles when he hit a game-tying RBI in the bottom of the ninth (the game ended in a tie).
Clark's not fighting for a roster spot in spring training. Kevin McGonigle is the only member of the Tigers' three-headed prospect dragon currently situated in Double-A Erie who has a distinct chance of making the roster. But that doesn't mean that Clark isn't there to make a good impression and live up to the top prospect hype.
