Tom Davies’ incredible breakthrough year was acknowledged with the Young Player of the Season award at the Club’s inaugural ‘Dixies’.
The 18-year-old boyhood Evertonian topped a poll on evertonfc.com and collected his prize during Tuesday evening’s ceremony at the iconic Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
Davies, who has featured in every game for the Blues in all competitions since Boxing Day, was presented his prize by the Everton’s most successful-ever captain, Kevin Ratcliffe.
Academy graduate Davies also netted his first senior goals in 2016/17, the first a stunning solo strike in a 4-1 victory over Manchester City in January and the second in a 4-2 win over Leicester City three months later.
