Tom Davies’ display in the 4-0 home victory over Manchester City has been chosen as Everton’s Individual Performance of the Season.
On only his second league start, the 18-year-old played the full 90 minutes, heading a rare early City chance off the line before sending Goodison Park into raptures with a magnificent run and chipped finish in front of the Howard Kendall Gwladys Street End.
Davies was the clear winner with 60 per cent of an online poll on the night, seeing off competition from Maarten Stekelenburg's performance at Manchester City (16 per cent) and Romelu Lukaku's four-goal showing for the visit of Bournemouth (24 per cent).
