LONDON -- Everton manager Ronald Koeman has said Ross Barkley's future is likely to be decided this week.
"I don't know," Koeman said when asked if Barkley, who has one year left on his contract, will stay at Goodison Park beyond this summer. "I will speak to the board tomorrow and we will make a statement about that."
Barkley, who has recently been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, was on the substitutes' bench as Everton lost 3-1 at Arsenal on Sunday but he was introduced in the 26th minute for Tom Davies as Koeman sought to take advantage of Laurent Koscielny's sending off.
