Jonjoe Kenny made his first senior Everton appearance of the season against Swansea City on Saturday - but his overriding feelings were of disappointment and frustration as the Blues were beaten 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium.
The young right-back, an outstanding performer for the Club’s title-winning Under-23s side this year, entered the action as a second-half substitute in South Wales.
It was just his second-ever appearance in the first-team, following a debut in the final match of the 2015/16 season against Norwich City, when David Unsworth was in temporary charge.
Kenny was full of energy in his late cameo on Saturday evening, delivering some dangerous crosses from the right as Everton searched for a late equaliser.
