As the dust settles on the 2016/17 season, we look back on how Ronald Koeman guided Everton back into European competition during his maiden campaign at the helm. Everton kicked off the month with a trip down the East Lancs to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, a game that would ultimately be remembered for Maarten Stekelenburg’s heroics in goal.
