Mike Vrabel played in the NFL for 14 seasons making one Pro Bowl, an All-Pro team, and winning three Super Bowls during his career.
Vrabel decided to get into coaching directly after his playing days were over. He returned to his alma mater as the linebackers coach at Ohio State in 2011, and he transitioned to coaching the defensive line for two seasons.
He got the call to join his former coach Bill O’Brien’s staff with the Houston Texans as their linebackers coach in 2014. Vrabel was promoted to defensive coordinator this season, and he’s had to deal with injuries to many of their star defenders.
