Colts hope to continue improving against Titans

INDIANAPOLIS — There are no points for effort in the NFL.

The general consensus is the Colts have improved in their past three games since an embarrassing 27-0 home loss against the Jaguars on Oct. 22.

But Indianapolis (3-7) only won one of those contests and enters Sunday's rematch with Tennessee (6-4) on the extreme fringe of the AFC playoff race.

The Colts are just two games out of the final wild-card spot with six to play. But there are eight teams with a better record than Indy in contention for that final postseason berth.

Meanwhile, many fans are more focused on next spring's draft order — where the Colts currently hold the fifth overall pick.
