INDIANAPOLIS — By the time Chuck Pagano began singing Sonny & Cher's "I Got You, Babe," Monday's weekly press conference at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center had lost all sight of the rails.
During a nearly 30-minute session with the media, the Colts head coach used large portions of the plot from the 1993 movie "Groundhog Day" and a metaphor involving hurricanes approaching landfall to describe his team's habit of falling apart in the second half.
Toward the end, even Pagano admitted, "I've lost my damn mind."
It provided a few moments of levity during a season featuring more than its share of drama.
