INDIANAPOLIS — "Groundhog Day" struck again.
A few weeks ago, Colts head coach Chuck Pagano cited the 1993 film in which Bill Murray's character relives the same day in a seemingly infinite loop when discussing his team's second-half struggles.
On Thursday, Indianapolis (3-11) squandered its seventh halftime lead of the season and surrendered 18 unanswered points to end a 25-13 loss against Denver (5-9).
As the Colts prepare for Saturday's trip to Baltimore (8-6), the late-game collapses remain a popular topic of discussion.
"We struggle to close," Pagano said. "It happened again. We have the lead, we come out like gangbusters like we needed to against Denver, and we haven’t been able to close.
