It’s the time of the year again. Everyone’s favorite American top flight soccer league is back! Major League Soccer returns for its 22nd season. Like any 22-year-old, they’re starting to mature and learn from their past mistakes. This offseason saw the league acquire much younger players in lieu of the bigger named players who are only there to sell merchandise. There’s still a long ways for MLS to go, but it’s slowly but surely changing for the better.
Week 1 offers some interesting match-ups. I’m going to be biased because I’m a Managing Editor and pick Atlanta United vs.
