The Washington Commanders have added two new wide receivers to the squad over the first wave of free agency. More acquisitions could be on the way, which is imperative as general manager Adam Peters looks to maximize the rookie contract window of quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Drastic measures were needed after an underwhelming 2025 campaign. The Commanders are off to a good start, but the hard work is just beginning. That led one NFL analyst to suggest a wideout drafted by Peters could be on the chopping block in the not-too-distant future.
